Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Organisers of the annual Soul Fill Up with Franco music festival have announced April 1 as the date for the event\u2019s second edition.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event is conceptualised by celebrated Kwasa Kwasa artist, Frank \u2018Franco\u2019 Lesokwane and is meant to celebrate his musical journey which spans over two decades.<\/p>\n

Following on the success of the first edition, the organisers announced Tuesday that preparations to hold the second installment are on track.<\/p>\n

When unveiling the second edition, the Event Manager, Phempheretlhe Pheto said with lessons learnt from the previous event, the second edition will be much bigger and better.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe event will be hosted on April 1 this year. We have already started preparations for this year\u2019s show. As you know, the show is meant to share Franco\u2019s musical journey with Batswana,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Pheto also said they have not abandoned the charity aspect of the show. He stated that just like last year, they will identify beneficiaries for the upcoming edition.<\/p>\n

He said Soul Fill Up has branded itself as one of the biggest music festivals in the country which give local artists the chance to show their talent. He explained that through its affirmative action decision to \u2018buy only local\u2019, it has exposed local service provider\u2019s capabilities as they shone in the previous event.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile,Franco called upon those who missed the previous edition to buy tickets for this one.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure those who attended last year have shared with you what it was like. I promise you. Make sure you attend, you won\u2019t be disappointed,\u201d said Franco.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the show sell at P100 early bird. The early bird special runs up to the end of February. Afterwards, standard ticket will cost P150 while those buying at the gate will pay P200 to enter. The tickets are sold at Webtickets and all Spar outlets countrywide.<\/p>\n
