Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The girls’ ignorance has worried the leadership of Lejwana village.<\/b><\/p>\n

Kgosi Neo Letlhare said he was concerned about the behavior of girls who were involved in alcohol and drug use.<\/p>\n

He was speaking at a court meeting chaired by Mmathethe\/Molapowabojang MP Dr Edwin Dikoloti.<\/p>\n

Kgosi Letlhare urged parents to get involved in teaching their children humanity before the situation escalates because those children are the future leaders of this world.<\/p>\n

Kgosi Letlhare said the situation was disheartening as this perverse behavior had spread to the younger age groups in schools and was therefore affecting the results as evidenced by those who completed the examination seventh last year.<\/p>\n

One of the concerns of Kgosi Letlhare is the stagnation and the sale of Setswana liquor.<\/p>\n

He explained that thin liquor is being produced which is shown to be unhealthy and said that is because there are no police in the village.<\/p>\n

He advised his people to take responsibility for their own health and that of their children.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Kgosi Letlhare appealed to Dr Dikoloti to help his village with police personnel.<\/p>\n

Responding to Kgosi Letlhare’s comments and other grievances of the Lejwana residents, Dr Dikoloti said he would do his best to resolve the community’s grievances.<\/p>\n

MP Dr Dikoloti urged the people of his constituency to use government programs such as livestock breeding especially cattle and sheep as some of the ways to lift them out of poverty and help to increase and integrate livelihoods.<\/p>\n

Dr Dikoloti pointed out that the crossing program has installed a road connecting the Morolong and Gangwaketse districts which is best known as Good Hope-Kgoro-Gathwane.<\/p>\n

He said the road was important because it would also help the farmers of the MOSISEDI ministerial fields where most of the harvest comes from.<\/p>\n

He promised the Lejwana community that if they wanted the policeman to sleep, he would soon be down.<\/p>\n
