Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Radio Botswana (RB) has introduced new radio programmes and presenters to refine the station\u2019s services.<\/b><\/p>\n

The new schedule will see new presenters in the likes of Pako Matlhare who will anchor Maitisong show while Mositi Gaodikelwe will present Mahube.<\/p>\n

Gorata Thebeyagae will present Tsoga o Phatsime, Matlhomola Mokwaisi is for Iketleetse show and Veronicah Morakanyane for Moribo.<\/p>\n

Pako Boshati and Gomolemo Mahuma will host Phala ya lela, while Chris Modibedi will engage with the audience through the programme Wa Sebilo.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are refining our programming as a way of offloading the burden of multitasking and overworking our employees thus giving them allowance to give out the best services,\u201d said Chief Broadcasting Officer Ms Lillian Dithupe in an interview with BOPA.<\/p>\n

She said veteran presenters would in no way be sidelined, adding that the changes would not affect their salaries as it only entailed a shift in responsibilities or duties.<\/p>\n

In the weekday\u2019s segments Matlhomola Mokwaisi will present Kgogamasigo while Gorata Thebeyagae has secured a slot for Mahube.<\/p>\n

RB listenership should expect the voice of Screamer and Goitse Ralenyena in Dilomakwati.<\/p>\n

Tshepo Keitheile returns to radio under the programme Tlhagafala and Mohumi Modise for Setlhoa. Mogatosi Kwapa will keep his listeners entertained with his programme Ha isong while Christopher Modibedi is the host of Lemepe.<\/p>\n

For her part one Radio Botswana presenters Keneilwe Kgari also known as The Queen Selector thanked the station for the experience she gained during Reggae Time show where she connected with the listeners who got to unwrap the inner roots of the genre.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost people don\u2019t know that Reggae is actually music that is wholly based on scripture and the show exposed many to that knowledge\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n

She encouraged the new presenters to continue building and maintaining healthy relations with their listeners as a way of constructing a better future for all.<\/p>\n
