Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Just a few days after its official release last week, HanC\u2019s new single track Pepetetsa has set social media ablaze.<\/b><\/p>\n

In an interview, HanC-born Hanceford Magapatona said Pepetetsa was a love song that appealed to both the young and the old. The songwriter said his latest track simply encouraged people to be considerate and patient with one another, especially those in love affairs, saying every relationship had challenges that must be addressed gently.<\/p>\n

The track, produced by PJ BW at Mantswitswidi Production studios in Gaborone comes at a time when most are looking forward to celebrating Valentines day on February 14, and it is also intended to embrace and appreciate the support he receives from his fans.<\/p>\n

He said just like his previous songs which helped those with challenges to heal and bounce back to life, Pepetetsa encouraged people to cherish and nurture love.<\/p>\n

The Mahalapye native said he began working on the single last December and that a few days before its official release, he shared a snippet of it on his official Facebook page to gauge public reaction and it was well received.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost of my previous songs are all about breakups. I always talk about my personal experience in my everyday life, but this time I chose to come up with something different,\u201d explained the multi-award winner.<\/p>\n

The pint-sized artist made his mark in the entertainment industry as a featured vocalist for the Sedilaka track, collaborating with Team Distant and Dj Chrispin in 2016.<\/p>\n

In 2017, he went solo, and his debut album On my own, featuring Stoan from Bongo Maffin, a South African band, was a huge success on iTunes and other social media platforms.<\/p>\n

Mafurafura and Rejection, his 2018 singles, earned him recognition at the 2019 Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAS), and made him a household name. Other singles that aided his career breakthrough are Padi-padi and Itsatsaula which he collaborated with Charma gal;.<\/p>\n
