It has gone quiet. Remember, actions speak louder than words&#8221; Khama said.<\/p>\n<p>Khama also dismissed claims that reconciliation could mean he is returning to the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I come from Serowe and he comes feom Moshupa. I would not ask him to make his home, Serowe and i would not expect him to make my hone Moshupa,&#8221; Khama said.<\/p>\n<p>Quizzed on recent resignations from BPF, Khama said he had no comments about them, stating that some had shared their reasons with him while others have not.<\/p>\n<p>Khama\u2019s comments come after an explosive remark made by President Masisi at a recent rally held in Shoshong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt must be noted that I wish that one day I and my president Ian Khama could talk and forgive each other.m He is still my president. I supported him fully during his tenure. I do not believe in hate and today I encourage our members to desist or stop spreading hate speeches or telling untruths because it causes war amongst us.\u201d he had said.<\/p>\n<p>Khama pounced on the opportunity and issued a statement stating that he had received a number of calls and messages from people informing him about Masisi\u2019s remarks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrevious attempts by others with whom I cooperated have all failed.
