Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Jwaneng Galaxy increased Prisons XI\u2019s relegation woes with a 2-0 victory in a premier league game in Jwaneng over the weekend.<\/b><\/p>\n

Both teams, however, displayed good football skills in the opening minutes of the game.<\/p>\n

Defenders did their assignments well in the early stages of the game and the match looked open for both sides until the 32nd minute when Gift Moyo put Galaxy ahead with a thunderbolt that left Prisons XI\u2019s goal minder, Bakang Methole astonished.<\/p>\n

The goal set Galaxy on fire and they went all out to fight to secure three points in this critical stage of the season.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s efforts came to fruition in the 66th minute through Thabang Sesinyi who tapped into the net to increase the tally to two after his team exchanged neat passes to reach the final third.<\/p>\n

The goals seemed to demoralise Prisons XI and the ball was played mostly at their half.<\/p>\n

The Warders were let down by lack of sharpness upfront, otherwise they would have at least reduced the margin to at least 2-1.<\/p>\n

In a post-match interview, Galaxy gaffer, Morena Ramoreboli, expressed delight for pocketing three points, but said there was need to work on technique and tactical discipline to ensure winning with high margins.<\/p>\n

He said at this critical stage of the season, every point counts therefore it was paramount that they pocketed maximum points.<\/p>\n

Ramoreboli said it was not an easy game as the opponents\u2019 defence was solid and played deep to deny his team a chance to play.<\/p>\n

However, he said they took advantage of opponents\u2019s deepness and scored goals.<\/p>\n

He said his team reacted slowly and on many occasions allowing opponents to touch the ball first, noting these are some of the aspects they would have to work on to improve.<\/p>\n

He said his goal was to build a result oriented team that would be consistent.<\/p>\n

For his part, Prisons XI\u2019s assistant coach, Slyvester Madisa, said the best medicine or recipe in football \u2018is that if you don\u2019t score goals you should not concede because if one cannot score goals and conceded then it becomes difficult\u2019.<\/p>\n

He said they conceded the first goal early and could not equalise.<\/p>\n

Madisa said his boys lacked confidence because they had not been doing well and that his charges gave Galaxy a lot of respect.<\/p>\n

He said going forward their goal would be to defend well and score goals, adding reaching the final third was a challenge for his side.<\/p>\n
