Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Tsela Riders cycling club will on Sunday host the second edition of its quarterly races.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event will be composed of two open sections of 110km and 55km. It will be classified according to elite, junior and youth categories.<\/p>\n

The open male category is the most exciting and anticipated as it will pit the creme de la creme of Botswana cyclists such as Abeng Malete, Lobone Rammidi, Lloyd Molale, Gontse Lethokwe, Thabiso Mokalake, Matlhogonolo Botlhole and Jameel Noor.<\/p>\n

Spokesperson, Moleko Majaha said the race would enable riders to prepare for other events locally and regionally.<\/p>\n

He said they chose the Kgale to Fikeng route because it was not familiar to cyclists and was more challenging. The race is open to all clubs and cyclists.<\/p>\n

Majaha said due to the absence of sponsors they would only reward the overall male and female winners in the 110km category as well as the overall junior male and female winners in the 55km race.<\/p>\n

He, however, said there might be token prizes available for other participants if their financial situation could change.<\/p>\n
