Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The sixth edition of Dimension Data Route73 Mountain Bike (MTB) Challenge returns this August, courtesy of Cycle4Life Cycling club.<\/b><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will treat riders to partially manicured single tracks, original jeep tracks with undisturbed nature and horizontal and vertical hills on the gruesome MTB route in the country.<\/p>\n

Cycle4Life Cycling Club Route73 Race coordinator, Mmuso Phonchi, said they were also planning to have one or two surprises on the route for the cyclists.<\/p>\n

The annual race affords cyclists an opportunity to test their aptness given the challenge\u2019s technicalities.<\/p>\n

Dimension Data general manager, Business Services, Dineo Letshwiti, said Dimension Data will on board as the headline sponsor.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will unveil more details regarding sponsorship on June 8, but I can confirm that Dimension Data Botswana is fully behind this exciting MTB challenge,\u201d Letshwiti noted.<\/p>\n

Dimension Data Route 73 MTB Challenge attracts cyclists from the SADC region, both professional and semi-pro as well as amateurs.<\/p>\n

The 2022 edition was won by South Africa\u2019s Thokozani Mahlangu, with Mark van Zyl and Gontse Lethokwe on second and third positions respectively.<\/p>\n
