Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Minister of Youth, Culture, Gender and Sport, Tumiso Rakgare is expected to wear a football kit tomorrow at the National stadium during the Clash of Legends event. Zebras legends will tomorrow lock horns against Bafana Bafana legends in what is expected to be a fun-filled event.<\/b><\/p>\n

Though Rakgare is expected to be part of the action on Saturday, he will not form part of the Botswana national team legends. He will feature as a player for one of the social clubs who will act as curtain raisers for the main event. Karabo Bosena who is the coordinator of clash of legends revealed that they organized the social clubs’ tournament to build the momentum needed for the big clash.<\/p>\n

She added that Rakgare volunteered to take part in the tournament. \u201cThe Minister approached us offering support to the clash of legends and he even volunteered to take part in the social tournament by availing himself to play for one of the social clubs hailing from Mogoditshane in Monate,\u201d she said. Patrick Motsepe who is part of the legends of Botswana said they are more than ready for the work ahead of them. \u201cTomorrow I promise we are going to showcase our skills and prove to people that we still have it in ourselves regardless of our age,\u201d Motsepe said. Meanwhile Bosena revealed that preparations have been going well without much hiccups. \u201cThe preparations have been going really well. Ticket sales are going very well currently standing over 6 000 sold tickets and counting, so we expect a good turn out,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n

Gates open at 7. 30am and the first match of the social tournament is set to kick start at 9am. The blockbuster match will kick start at 4pm.<\/p>\n
