Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>City Kings Football Club of Gumare have booked themselves a place in the Northern Block promotional play offs to First Division set for Francistown in two weeks\u2019 time.<\/b><\/p>\n

The team emerged champions in the Nhabe Regional Football Association play offs held over the weekend in Gumare, after beating Springbok Foot Club of Maun stream 2-1 and Ndundu Young Fighters of Shakawe stream 2-0.<\/p>\n

Ndundu Young Fighters settled for silver, winning two to one goal against Gweta-based Springbok, who won bronze.<\/p>\n

In an interview, the two men of the match from City Kings, Dirang Kgosiyatama and Mokena Ngave from the games between Springbok Foot Club and Ndundu Young Fighters respectively expressed excitement to be men of the match and said their wins were a result of practicing well.<\/p>\n

The duo also said they were thankful to their team mates and coaches for the wins.<\/p>\n

Nhabe Regional Football Association chairperson, Jackalas Jackalas said the region\u2019s 2023 first division playoffs went well with City Kings as champions to represent the region at the Northern Blocks plays offs.<\/p>\n

Nhabe Regional Football Association is made up of three streams of Maun, Gumare and Shakawe, which have 13, 12 and 13 teams respectively.<\/p>\n
