Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The newly opened Grand Palm studio store by lifestyle clothing brand, Collections by BK Proctor signals its ambitions to reach new horizons.<\/b><\/p>\n

The store, the second in Gaborone, somehow tells a story of an entrepreneur who is determined to adapt to the rapidly changing customer demands and expectation as it hopes to tap into the diverse clientele the resort attracts.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor this particular store, we are targeting people who come here for conferences and other events, especially those that come from outside the country,\u201d said the founder, Bakang Proctor during the opening of the store last week.<\/p>\n

He said the store, which had collaborated with Peermont Botswana, featured products and merchandise that suit Grand Palm customers.<\/p>\n

Sharing the journey of the brand that was in its fifth year in the industry, Proctor said they had managed to accomplish a lot so far looking back at the first store that used to be located at Oasis motel in Tlokweng.<\/p>\n

The designer said they were adding to their collection by incorporating sports and children\u2019s wear.<\/p>\n

The general manager for Peermont Global Botswana, Keletso Bogatsu, said her company had always been keen and resourceful towards any young Batswana entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most important thing for us is the type of brand that we want to associate ourselves with.<\/p>\n

We have been working with Proctor since last year and we like his ideology when it comes to his understanding of what branding is all about.<\/p>\n

So we look forward to this relationship and we hope it lasts,\u201d Bogatsu said.<\/p>\n

Bogatsu was optimistic that the new partnership with BK Proctor would succeed, saying they were proud of the youth that were trying their best to be successful entrepreneurs. She said the collaboration was one of the many they were engaged in with companies that were 100 per cent owned by Botswana youths.<\/p>\n
