Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>An all local act afro house and afro tech music show will be held at Sky View Lounge, Gaborone on August 5.<\/b><\/p>\n

Beyond U\u2019S, an initiative by Tefo Foxx, will showcase local talent to give them an opportunity to shine.<\/p>\n

Tefo Phokoje, Popularly known as Tefo Foxx said in an interview that the concept was meant to celebrate Botswana talent through an exclusive music show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not have a lot of events locally which focus on just local acts and with these genres hence the event,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said so far Benny T, BentiqSoul, Shawn Lee, JembeSoul, KZar, Osaka Sun and KELE had confirmed their participation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to push this as a day event, and Sky View provides the perfect, safe and inclusive environment for this experience,\u201d said Tefo Foxx adding that he hoped for more support from Batswana .<\/p>\n

Based in Pretoria, Tefo Foxx has made a mark in the entertainment space particularly the afro tech.<\/p>\n

He said he learnt a lot during his stay in South Africa while pursuing his career, and felt now was the time to engage with fellow country artistes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have had privileges and I am excited to share and engage with my people here at home, after all home will always be home no matter how far one goes. I am happy that I am doing this in my country,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
