Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The nominees for the eighth edition of the Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAS) have been unveiled. The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 11 at Molapo Showcase Piazza, marking the return of in-person installments of the awards since the COVID-19 pandemic movement restrictions. The contenders were announced yesterday morning (Tuesday) at the scheduled venue for this year’s installment.<\/b><\/p>\n

The awards promise exceptional competition across all categories, bringing together some of the most distinguished artists in the nation. Accomplished producer and DJ, Chef Gusos, leads this year\u2019s selection with seven nominations for his acclaimed track ‘Away’ featuring Priscilla.<\/p>\n

Han C and DJ Ngwazi follow the lead with five nominations each. Other notable nominees are A.T.I, Jordan Moozy, William Last KRM, and Veezo View.<\/p>\n

The sponsors for the awards encompass Mascom Wireless, Okavango Diamond Company, and Taurus. As per the organisers, the voting process for the awards has officially started and will continue until October 31 at midnight. Admission tickets for the awards ceremony are priced at P200 (standard), with P350 for the Golden Circle, P1,500 for PVIP, and P5,000 for the VIIP ticket for two.<\/p>\n

Tickets are available via Webticket and Mascom outlets. Furthermore, the organisers have announced discounts are available for Mascom’s MyZaka ticket purchases. This year\u2019s YAMAS event will be held under the thematic motif of ‘Drip Till Infinity’.<\/p>\n
