Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Gaborone United (GU) recorded the most votes for the Mascom Charity Cup scheduled to take place next month.<\/p>\n

The Botswana Premier League log leaders garnered 62,984 votes followed by Security Systems with 51,027 votes. BDF XI and Orapa United conclude the top four with 48,596 and 44,407 votes respectively.<\/p>\n

Township Rollers, despite a huge following, will miss out on this year’s competition after failing to garner more votes to stay in the top four. The Blues were voted 30, 637 times to finish sixth in the rankings. They had been inside the top four the majority of the voting period that lasted over a month and fell off on the last hour. The one-day tournament will be played on April 2 at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium. The draw held this morning saw Security Systems draw Orapa United in the first semi final while BDF XI and GU will square off in the second semi final.<\/p>\n
