Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a star-studded line-up of international artistes.<\/b><\/p>\n

Even more special, is the inclusion of two talented Batswana musicians who will grace the stage alongside renowned global performers.<\/p>\n

DJ Mduduzi \u2018Mdu Tha Party\u2019 Madzwamuse and R&B sensation, Dato Seiko, will make history as the first-ever Batswana artistes to perform at the DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival.<\/p>\n

On Day two of the festival, Dato Seiko, fresh off the launch of her hit song \u2018The Vow\u2019, will share the stage with American R&B icon Maxwell, South Africa\u2019s Joyous Celebration, Incognito, and more at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.<\/p>\n

Dato Seiko, whose real name is Katlego Ntirang, expressing her excitement, said: \u201cThe first song I ever learned to sing was Maxwell\u2019s \u2018This Woman\u2019s Work\u2019 when I was in Standard One.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s one of the artistes who\u2019ve taught me how to always put all my emotion into my performances. I couldn\u2019t be happier to be the first live performing artist from Botswana to grace their main stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mdu Tha Party, who recently hosted \u2018Bots Top 5,\u2019 a music video countdown show dedicated to Botswana music on Channel O, has had a year filled with recognition and achievement for his exceptional talent.<\/p>\n

Madzwamuse said: \u201cTo be invited to be on one of Africa\u2019s biggest stages is a testament not just to my talent, but to how big our dreams are as young African creatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe I am worthy of a spot on the line-up and I\u2019m ecstatic to be at par with the best DJs and musicians from all over the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am determined to make my supporters and my country proud and cannot wait to steal the show with the Blue, Black, and White on my shoulders.\u201d<\/p>\n

MultiChoice Botswana played a pivotal role in ensuring that both Dato Seiko and Mdu Tha Party had the opportunity to perform at the festival. Thembile Legwaila, MultiChoice Botswana Head of Marketing, said:<\/p>\n

The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is a two-day culinary and musical extravaganza that offers fans an unforgettable blend of musical performances and global food offerings.<\/p>\n

On September 23rd, headline artist Zakes Bantwini, alongside Nigeria\u2019s Tems, the classic social-conscious Hip-Hop Soul group, Arrested Development, and more will grace the main stage.<\/p>\n

The following day, R&B Soul crooner Maxwell, gospel icons Joyous Celebration, and the classic Incognito will take over, making it an action-packed weekend for any food and music lover.<\/p>\n

Powered by LottoStar, tickets to the festival can be accessed through an online ticketing platform, Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n

Batswana are urged to visit the ticketing website before tickets sell out so that they can witness history being made when Dato Seiko and Mdu Tha Party take the stage on September 23 and 24, respectively.<\/p>\n
