Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Communication is key to the success of all ventures such as building strong families.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking during a family building seminar in Kanye on October 30, Kanye South Member of Parliament, Dr Lemogang Kwape said it was important to consult when taking decisions.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should not make decisions on behalf of each others without discussing first,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Dr Kwape said building strong families led to successful communities and the nation.<\/p>\n

He highlighted the need to be patient when working with others, saying patience always paid off in the end.<\/p>\n

He advised attendees to do everything for the benefit of their families rather than to impress others.<\/p>\n

Dr Kwape also said those who were better off in life should see the need to assist the less privileged.<\/p>\n

One of the organisers, Ms Ashley Thaba reiterated that communication was key to every relationship.<\/p>\n

She advised that the person to be in charge of family finances should be chosen by both parties looking at the qualities of such an individual in relation to money.<\/p>\n

She said families were teams with individuals having different roles to play, adding that no one should be left out in family matters.<\/p>\n
