Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>St Bernadette church choir is set to continuously empower, celebrate and bring together women in and outside the church. It will hold a gala dinner dubbed the Modern Proverbs 31 Women at the church\u2019s grounds on November 4 in Gaborone.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event\u2019s chief organiser, Kenanao Rakgano, said they intended to demonstrate that churches were about more than just praise and worship.<\/p>\n

She said women possessed inspirational abilities and talents that ought to be recognised and supported.<\/p>\n

\u201cBringing together women under the biblical teaching context intended to recognise and elevate the strength and capabilities of women\u201d She said.<\/p>\n

Rakgano said they also want to ensure that women have and maintain their voices towards decision making processes.<\/p>\n

Activities of the day would include inspirational talks on how to navigate life challenges, parenting, financial literacy and entrepreneurial tactics amongst others.<\/p>\n

Rakgano further said the event was set to reach out to the youth to encourage them towards community building activities.<\/p>\n
