Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Bojanala Waterfront turned into a vibrant wonderland over the weekend as people from different walks of life gathered around to celebrate yet another thrilling edition of Leteise on Fleek, courtesy of Colorful People Entertainments.<\/b><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition was headlined by Lloyiso, Thabsie and Musa from South Africa alongside local artistes, including Charma Gal, Ditiro Leero, Captain Dira, Dr Vom and Dj Fresh.<\/p>\n

Dr Vom and Ditiro Leero took the stage together and had attendants dancing to the timeles Tsaya thobane track.<\/p>\n

Prior to the duo\u2019s performance, Ditiro had the opportunity to sing alone, bringing back nostalgic memories about the heyday of his musical career through his songs Mmalebopo and Semakaleng.<\/p>\n

Through his legendary decade hits, Waja wa jelwa, Go Jewa Go Sutelwana, and Machobane, Captain Dira gave an outstanding performance.<\/p>\n

Musa, who was performing at the event for the first time, performed his Mthande, which serves as a reminder that people should embrace and adore their lovers in spite of the difficulties they may face.<\/p>\n

Despite its modest beginnings, Leteise on Fleek has grown to become the go-to event through its fusion of traditional and contemporary, which encourages innovation in the fashion sector.<\/p>\n

Over the past three years, the event has successfully drawn prominent international acts to perform alongside local artistes, a significant advancement that has given local artistes visibility.<\/p>\n

Colorful People Entertainments director and coordinator of Leteise on Fleek, David Letshwiti, said in an interview that a portion of the event\u2019s proceeds would be towards social corporate responsibility initiatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the start of Leteise on Fleek three years ago, we have launched a CSR project called Taka Child to School. The main goal is to purchase full school uniforms for some of the less fortunate kids,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said although the initial concept was more of just a music festival, it had evolved into fashion, offering a fiesta of cultural celebration and an opportunity to bring together the young and old under the same roof for entertainment.<\/p>\n
