Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Sankoyo Bush Bucks trounced Bobonong\u2019s Peacemakers 4-0 during a First Division North League encounter at Maun Sports Complex on Saturday.<\/b><\/p>\n

Peacemakers became the second victim of Bush Bucks or Ngurungu Boys\u2019 wrath as they walloped Makungulupeswa Football Club 2-1 a fortnight ago at Nshakazhogwe Primary School ground.<\/p>\n

The struggling Sankoyo has been sitting at the bottom of the log and their win has elevated them to eighth position.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, from the onset, it appeared Peacemakers undermined their opponents at their home ground with their massive support.<\/p>\n

And Ngurungu Boys pilled more pressure on the visiting team throughout the entire first half and managed to score the first goal in the 26th minute through an easy pass from Boikobo Mokoya while the second goal came through Oamogetse Kelediretse who penetrated and silenced the visiting team defence department on the 45th minute.<\/p>\n

Peacemakers came back revitalised after recess and started making brilliant passes to test Sankoyo goal keeper, but it was not their day.<\/p>\n

Ngurungu Boys looked dangerous in their counter attack and were rewarded in the 82nd minute through a brilliant strike by Kelediretse.<\/p>\n

Just when the second half was coming to an end, Sankoyo was awarded a free kick, which was easily converted by Nlisa Dema.<\/p>\n

Sankoyo head coach, Papani Likha, in a post match interview, gave credit to his boys, saying they played well despite challenges they faced.<\/p>\n

He said the players were motivated and started well, noting that they could have scored more goals but were unlucky.<\/p>\n

He said his boys had been struggling to create scoring chances, but that things have changed hence they managed to win two games in a row.<\/p>\n

He added that he was confident that the boys would win the remaining games.<\/p>\n

Peacemakers assistant coach, Onalenna Moalosi gave credit to Sankoyo, saying they outclassed his boys throughout the game.<\/p>\n

Their opponents, he said, were well organised in all departments and that their combinations worked wonders while his boys seemed relaxed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will go back to the drawing board and see how best we can motivate our boys because the majority are not happy due to welfare issues.<\/p>\n

Some struggle to turn up for training and this affects performance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
