Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Orapa music lovers were on Friday and Saturday treated to a spectacle as the Botswana Defence Force bands mesmerised them with songs from different artists.<\/b><\/p>\n

They introduced themselves by playing Frank Lesokwane’s piece, Madume Dumelang and the crowd went wild with Franco\u2019s song.<\/p>\n

The excited audience was also wowed by the band leader and his crew from Thebephatshwa.<\/p>\n

His resonant voice filled the hall and he connected with the audience as his magnetic performance drew spectators closer to the donation basket, driving the ultimate objective, which was to raise funds for charity.<\/p>\n

The group also played songs composed by Culture Spears, Double-Pp and Rihanna among others. The lead artist showed versatility by singing different genres with expressive ability.<\/p>\n

A group from Francistown also stole the hearts of revellers by playing Nnunu Ramogotsi\u2019s Masonoko. The group also played Keneilwe by Dalom Kids to show their varied skills set and to get Splash music fanatics on their dancing feet.<\/p>\n

The bands donated P25 000 to Botswana Council of Women in Letlhakane.<\/p>\n
