Notably, the Bank of Botswana data shows that Pula experienced a modest appreciation of 0.3 percent against the South African Rand, juxtaposed with a 0.5 percent depreciation against the IMF Special Drawing Rights (SDR).<\/b><\/p>\n

A closer examination of the Pula\u2019s movements against major currencies during the one-month period revealed a multifaceted scenario. The local currency faced depreciation against the British Pound (3.1%), the Euro (2.1%), Chinese Renminbi (1.4%), and the Japanese Yen (0.8%). However, in a divergent trend, the Pula appreciated by 1.4 percent against the US Dollar.<\/p>\n
