Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The second edition of Into Africa Picnic Festival is scheduled for Adashe Garden Resort in Thamaga on December 29.<\/b><\/p>\n

Hosted by The Dawn Sessions, the picnic is a family fun day event created for revellers to unwind just after the Christmas holidays as they prepare to usher in the New Year.<\/p>\n

The picnic provides not only entertainment in form of performances, but also gives the community an opportunity to showcase their products.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have stalls in place for entrepreneurs to generate money and market their products from and merchandise sales during the event,\u201d said organiser Thuso Mohurutshe.<\/p>\n

He said the event had not only brought entertainment to the village but also created job opportunities for the youth through event activations, security provision and caterers as well as performers.<\/p>\n

He noted that the event had attracted revellers from various places from the country coming in to share diverse cultures through the themed dress code of African attire.<\/p>\n

Some of the performances scheduled for the event include Double Up, Thabang Gaarogwe as well as local DJs Kello, Romeo Tha Medley, Eddie The DJ, DJ Rudo among others.<\/p>\n

Early bird tickets for Into Africa picnic have been sold out, however revellers can buy tickets for P100 at the gate and P350 for a group of five people.<\/p>\n
