Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Police here are searching for suspects who broke into a bar in the early hours of Christmas Day and stole a television set and alcohol.<\/b><\/p>\n

Jwaneng Police station commander, Superintendent Thuso Basuti, told that the hunt was on for the group.<\/p>\n

“We are still searching for the culprits and plead with anyone who has information regarding this issue to assist. \u201cThe stolen goods are worth P20, 000,” he said.<\/p>\n

According to Basuti, despite the incident, the festive season recorded fewer criminal cases, such as housebreaking. The bar break-in was the only case recorded, whereas in 2022, police had five criminal cases.<\/p>\n

“Generally this festive season people were behaving and working well with the police,” he said.<\/p>\n
