The move is a calculated step designed to fuel the company\u2019s growth and fortify its operations in Botswana, where it has a rooted history spanning 40 years through its subsidiary, Okavango Wilderness Safaris (OWS).<\/b>
\nSecuring Backing and Ensuring Continuity<\/b><\/p>\n

The relocation to Mauritius has been made possible with robust financial backing from Stanbic Bank Botswana Limited, Standard Bank (Mauritius), and Standard Bank of South Africa Limited. Despite the pivotal move, WHL has reassured that its operations in Botswana will remain unaffected, with no changes anticipated in its workforce that comprises over 1,000 individuals.<\/p>\n

Investing in Growth and Raising Capital<\/b><\/p>\n

Having successfully replicated its business model in seven African countries and the UK, WHL is now set to invest heavily in human resources. The company also plans to raise additional capital by migrating its holding company to Mauritius. The expansion is forecasted to bring about an increase in capital, bednight sales, and tourist visits to Botswana.
