Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Ms Dimpho Rabasimane won herself a brand new Mercedes-Benz C200 in the recently concluded 20th edition of the Big Birthday Bonanza competition, courtesy of Choppies.<\/b><\/p>\n

She was announced as the winner on Friday after purchasing products worth P69 from Molapowabojang Choppies.<\/p>\n

Five other lucky winners, Kagiso Tshekega, Masego Moshokgo, Taita Tjaja, Constance Mabilo, and Onneile Keaboletse, each won a brand new Nissan Navara, with the luckiest winner having bought only a can of coke that amounts to P9.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, ninety-seven more lucky customers pocketed themselves P15 000 cash prizes each.<\/p>\n

The competition ran from October 18 last year until January 6 this year and required the customer to be 18 years and above, have an Omang card, and for foreigners in possession of valid passports and staying in Botswana.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Choppies Marketing and Public Relations Officer, Mr Kebonyemodisa Kebonyemodisa, stated that the competition was a social responsibility initiative aimed at improving the lives of Batswana.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis competition is a way of showing appreciation to our customers and improving their lives,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He continued to state that the competition required a customer to buy any of the participating products, and they stood the chance to win the grand prizes regardless of the amount they used to purchase the products.<\/p>\n
