Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Mr Keaoleboga Sekandaras of Ikoga is the latest beneficiary of President Bull Donation Drive.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 39-year-old farmer received a 14-month red Brahman bull from Minister of Agriculture, Mr Fidelis Molao on behalf of President of Botswana Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi at the inaugural Ngamiland Farmers Field Day on April 6.<\/p>\n

Mr Sekandaras started his farming journey in 2019 with four cattle he bought with proceeds from piece work, a number that has since increased to 28.<\/p>\n

Presenting the gift Mr Molao thanked the donor, Mr Albert Munduu for making it possible.<\/p>\n

He said the donation spoke to Vision 2036 pillars which encouraged Batswana to uplift one another.<\/p>\n

The minister said the Red Brahman would help improve the beneficiary\u2019s breed and that of other farmers in his area.<\/p>\n

Mr Munduu said the gesture was a consensus by the family, to assist a fellow farmer.<\/p>\n
