Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Despite a setback in their recent match against Security Systems over the weekend, TAFIC coach, Kopanelo Maleke, still believes his team will finish in the top four.<\/b><\/p>\n

Following their promotion to the top-flight league, Maleke set his sights high and said he wanted the team to compete and not just add numbers. \u201cWhen you are new in the league, the most important thing is just for the boys to adapt to the Premier League because, mind you, they are coming from the First Division but that is not an excuse not to compete,\u201d Maleke said.<\/p>\n

The tactician lauded his players for the manner they have competed since earning promotion as the team has stayed in the top eight for long periods. \u201cI would not be asking a lot from them as I am targeting for us to get back into the top four and also to do well in the Orange FA Cup,\u201d he said. TAFIC sit in position five, three points behind fourth-placed Security Systems, who defeated the Francistown side 2-1 on Saturday. Matjimenyenga will now switch focus from the Premier League to the FA Cup quarter-finals as they take on Sua Flamingoes at the Francistown Council Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n
