Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Known as the trade hub for African crafts, the Main Mall stands ready and redecorated to host businesses dealing in craft, beading and weaving during the 2024 edition of the Forbes Under 30 Africa Summit scheduled for May 5-8, in Gaborone.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture has mobilised craft businesses across Botswana to capitalise from the market access intervention presented by this event.<\/p>\n

Briefing the media recently, Forbes Under 30 Africa Summit chairperson of publicity and communication committee, Mr Fenny Letshwiti said the event would convene the most successful, innovative and impact-minded young entrepreneurs and leaders from around the continent and around the globe.<\/p>\n

Mr Letshwiti said Acting President Slumber Tsogwane was expected to speak at the opening ceremony in the Main Mall on Sunday at 5pm.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfrica holds one of the world\u2019s greatest markets for growth, making it ripe for catalysing entrepreneurial capitalism at a larger scale. Forbes\u2019 Under 30 Africa Summit 2024 will not only provide attendees with an immersive cultural experience, but also shine light on the greatest business stories and biggest opportunities \u2013 as well as those who are forging new paths forward,\u201d Mr Letshwiti stated.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that there would be an array of speakers from across the globe who would speak alongside the Acting President, including government officials, venture capitalists, CEOs and celebrities.<\/p>\n

Mr Letshwiti said Mr Nick Cannon, an entertainer and entrepreneur, will headline the event, which is set to focus on investment and entrepreneurship across the continent. Mr Letshwiti confirmed an impressive and dynamic docket of speakers, all of whom bring unique backgrounds and experiences in the African and global entrepreneurial landscape. Conversations will focus on Africa\u2019s economic transformation and biggest investment opportunities.<\/p>\n

Over the last two installments of the Forbes Under 30 Africa Summit a list of young Batswana have benefitted from the event and enjoyed ample time to network and benchmark from the best young entrepreneurs from across the globe.<\/p>\n
