Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>A man employed as a herdsman at Letlhakane cattle post in Mmamabula Siding some few kilometres north of Dibete has lost his life in a fight with another herdmen Monday night.<\/b><\/p>\n

The deceased, a 45-year-old man of Maaloso ward, in Palla Road died of wounds he sustained at the hands of a 24-year-old man of Parwe ward, in Mahalapye. It is reported that the two had a misunderstanding that led to a fight. Investigating the matter, Dibete police station commander, Superintendent Meshack Ranku said during the tussle the suspect allegedly took a hard object and hit the deceased on the head leaving him lying on the ground motionless.<\/p>\n

Ranku said the deceased was certified dead by doctors on arrival at Mahalapye hospital.<\/p>\n

He further stated that the Mahalapye native has been arrested and appeared before Mahalapye Magistrates Court faced with a single count of murder today (Wednesday).<\/p>\n
