The song, which has already stirred excitement on social media with its captivating lyrics, is set for release this week, complete with visually stunning music videos.<\/p>\n

Fans across the region eagerly anticipate the collaboration, which promises to blend local vibrant sounds with South Africa\u2019s soulful melodies.<\/p>\n

Social media buzz<\/p>\n

Han C revealed in an exclusive interview how the collaboration came to life. \u201cIt all started when Donald released a snippet of his song \u2018Lerato,\u2019 on TikTok where he sang in Setswana. People immediately noticed the similarity in our voices and started tagging me about working together,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n

The buzz in social media caught Donald\u2019s attention, leading him to reach out to Han C. As it turned out, Han C had already recorded \u201cMmele, Pelo le Moya\u201d at Master KG\u2019s studio, as a collaboration between himself and DJ Ngwazi.<\/p>\n

When Donald heard the track during a studio visit, he expressed interest in adding his own verse, and the three artists agreed that his voice would fit perfectly.<\/p>\n

Donald\u2019s take<\/p>\n

Multi-award-winning artist Donald spoke highly of Han C, describing him as \u201cthe biggest artist in Botswana\u201d and explaining that this made the partnership a natural choice.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had tried to push the song earlier but it never saw the light of day,\u201d said Han C. \u201cNow, with Donald\u2019s input, it felt stronger, and we decided it was the right time to release it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The song\u2019s theme centres on investing one\u2019s mind, body and soul in a relationship or project only for things to turn out in a way other than what was expected, a situation that many listeners can relate to.<\/p>\n

For Han C, the collaboration represents more than just a single project; it\u2019s an opportunity to spotlight Botswana\u2019s musical talent on a broader stage.<\/p>\n

Future collaborations<\/p>\n

He expressed hope that this partnership will open doors for other local artists to break into regional and international markets. \u201cThe collaboration shows that artists from other countries recognise the talent we have in Botswana,\u201d he said. \u201cI hope this inspires others to take that leap of faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking to the future, Han C is setting his sights beyond Botswana\u2019s borders. He shared that his next goal is to explore new markets and expand his reach to other countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery move I am going to make is to branch out,\u201d he said, signalling his determination to export Botswana\u2019s music and culture to the world.<\/p>\n
