This morning, the BFL announced that it will hold its end of the season awards on June 25.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The BFL has added seven new categories to take the total number of categories to 16, the most since the inception of the league.<\/p>\n<p>Among some of the new categories are the Defender of the Season and Midfielder of the Season awards.<\/p>\n<p>The matchday officials have been recognised with the introduction of two more categories in the Young Referee of the Season and the Female Referee of the Season.<\/p>\n<p>There are also two more awards for the administrators in the Team Manager of the Season and the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Season awards.<\/p>\n<p>The best performing players in this campaign will be included in the Premier League Best XI.<\/p>\n<p>The BFL will announce the nominees in each category before the final round of league games to be played on June 4.<\/p>\n<p>In December, the BFL announced the league champions will pocket P1 million.<\/p>\n<p>2021\u20132022 BFL awards categories:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Top goalscorer<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Player of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Players\u2019 Player of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Goalkeeper of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Defender of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Midfielder of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Young Player of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Coach of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Referee of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assistant Referee of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Young Referee of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Female Referee of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Team Manager of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 PRO of the Season<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Premier League Best XI<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Chairman\u2019s Award<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/botswana\">Botswana<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Botswana.
