The former President confirmed the visit through an online statement on Wednesday and further posted his pictures with King Mswati who rules eSwatini as an absolute Monarch.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am on a private visit in The Kingdom of Eswatini and last night, King Mswati III hosted a dinner to welcome me to his country. The reception and hospitality has been remarkable and I’ll be looking forward to a great stay in Eswatini,\u201d said the former President.<\/p>\n

Efforts to reach Foreign Affairs Minister Thulisile Dladla proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report, her phone rang unanswered.<\/p>\n

Ian Khama has been a close ally of Mswati for years now, when the King unleashed soldiers and the police to kill dozens of civilians, there was no statement from the former President condemning the massacre.<\/p>\n
