MmaDisang, who passed away on April 1 at the age of 67, was the wife of Bakgatla deputy chief, Kgosi Bana Sekai.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Having battled health issues for an extended period, MmaDisang\u2019s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her loved ones. Her son, Mr Disang Linchwe, reflected on her unwavering support and presence in their family, describing her as their \u2018pillar of strength.\u2019 He praised her impeccable taste and her belief in the power of consultation, emphasising her supportive role alongside Kgosi Sekai.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMmaDisang was loving, patient, a disciplinarian and always encouraged us to become better versions of ourselves,\u201d said Mr Linchwe.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed his desire to remember his mother not in her illness but through the joyful moments they shared together. \u201cI would like to celebrate her life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Linchwe urged Bakgatla to support his father during this challenging time, highlighting the importance of community support now that MmaDisang is no longer with them.<\/p>\n<p>Her grandson, Radikolo Linchwe, shared his feelings of loss, stating that losing his grandmother was unbearable. \u201cWe will miss her warmth, love, wisdom, and even her scolding,\u201d he recalled, painting a picture of the deep bond they shared.<\/p>\n<p>A close friend, Ms Josephine Chiura, who met MmaDisang in the early 1990s while they both worked for Standard Chartered and later Zimbank, fondly remembered her as a humorous and amazing woman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy friend was beautiful inside and out. She never lost touch with those she crossed paths with and was always willing to help,\u201d Ms Chiura reminisced.<\/p>\n<p>MmaDisang\u2019s uncle, Mr Nchimpi Nkwe, spoke of her disciplined upbringing, describing her as a soft-spoken yet strict individual who impacted those around her.
