the 20 tcf Yakaar-Teranga liquefied natural gas project; and the 13 tcf BirAllah project will be instrumental both for the continent as it moves to alleviate energy poverty and kickstart sustainable economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>As regional players aim to unlock the potential of the region\u2019s basins, Energy Capital &amp; Power\u2019s (ECP) upcoming MSGBC Oil, Gas &amp; Power conference and exhibition \u2013 taking place from September 1-2 in Dakar, Senegal \u2013 serves to only enhance this agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Organized under the patronage of H.E.<\/p>\n<p>President Macky Sall \u2013 who will be opening the event \u2013 and in partnership with the Ministry of Petroleum and Energies, COS-Petrogaz and the African Energy Chamber, this year\u2019s edition is centered around the theme, \u201cThe Future of Natural Gas: Growth using strategic investment and policymaking,\u2019 .<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, over 627 in-person and 188 virtual delegates attended the first-ever edition of MSGBC Oil, Gas &amp;
