It was the 22nd Grand Slam of the Mallorcan’s career, who is now two ahead of Serbian Novak Djokovic, an opponent he defeated in this edition’s quarter-finals, and Swiss Roger Federer.<\/b><\/p>\n

At Phillipe Chatrier, the Norwegian (eighth in the world and will move up to fifth) accused too much of the pressure of playing the first Grand Slam final of his career and never showed arguments to contradict Nadal (he delivered the second set with a double fault\u2026), with the Spaniard, just 36 years old, triumphing 6-3, 6-3 and 6-0 in 2h20 of play, a devastating result that demonstrates his total supremacy on the court.<\/p>\n

In the French Grand Slam, Rafa now has an unbelievable record of 112 wins and just three losses since 2005.<\/p>\n
