At first, he said they have seen five to 10 cases in two weeks but now the cases have risen to 67.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is very worrisome. The numbers for COVID-19 cases have started to increase in the hospital for both patients coming for admission and our staff members, which we are concerned about as management. We check patients first before we admit them and our staff has monthly screen checkups for COVID-19,\u201d Dr Goepamang told The Monitor on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe number of COVID-19 admitted patients have increased from 10 cases [fortnightly] to 31 cases now. It must be noted that these patients had other diseases that they were diagnosed with and they tested positive after being checked for COVID-19. The cases were not COVID-19 referrals. In the last two weeks, we only registered two cases of COVID-19-related deaths.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the patients are not critically ill since they were not admitted for COVID-19 complications but for different diseases. However, he said the hospital will keep on reviewing the issue of visits by patients\u2019 relatives as it had been the case weekly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeemo sa mogare ke sone se se tla laolang gore re dire jang rele management wa sepatela.
