Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Extension Gunners has unveiled multiple partners for the coming season in a bid to take the team back to its glory days.<\/b><\/p>\n

One of the new developments will see the club have funeral policy cover for its players with the help of one of the club\u2019s sponsors, Penrich Insurance Brokers. Gunners announced the deal during a recent press briefing in Gaborone, with club chairperson, Rapula Okaile saying the move was part of a journey to make the Lobatse side, great again.<\/p>\n

The committee has launched a project \u2018Making Gunners great again\u2019 in a bid to lift the struggling Peleng giants. \u201cThis is something the club looks forward to change, and we are starting to do so by roping in new sponsorships to help make Gunners great again,\u201d Okaile said. In the sponsorship deal Penrich will provide funeral cover for players and members of the club.<\/p>\n

The club is set to benefit 30 percent from the sponsorship deal, with no figures disclosed. Penrich\u2019s Olebogeng Motlogelang said there will be different tiers of the funeral policy. The different policies will range from one covering the beneficiary only up to others that include several family members. Penrich will also have the accidental death benefit in their policies.<\/p>\n

The Penrich Insurance Brokers is not only the sponsor to partner with Gunners. The club also has a relationship with Khuduga TV, Dlala, FM Creative Inc, and Colourful People. Gunners are set to also benefit 30 percent from these sponsorship deals. Khuduga TV, as the broadcast partner, will air the team\u2019s matches that are not on Botswana Television. FM Creative Inc.<\/p>\n

will cover all media printing for the club. Colourful People will do activations in an effort to attract spectators to Gunners matches. The company aims to raise P1 million for Gunners and take charge of the sell of beverages at matches in a bid to generate more income.<\/p>\n

Gunners welfare manager, Mpho Nkadimang expressed his delight with the latest developments. \u201cGunners club is thrilled to have these organizations as our sponsors and we hope we will work well together towards making Extension Gunners great again,\u201d Nkadimang said.<\/p>\n
