Africa-Press<\/a> – Cameroun<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Un h\u00f4te de marque est arriv\u00e9 en terre camerounaise ce jeudi 16 septembre 2021. Il s\u2019agit du pr\u00e9sident de la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration Africaine de Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, qui a foul\u00e9 le sol de l\u2019a\u00e9roport de Yaound\u00e9-Nsimalen dans la mi-journ\u00e9e, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli par le pr\u00e9sident par int\u00e9rim de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Camerounaise de Football (FECAFOOT) et non moins quatri\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sident de la CAF, Seidou Mbombo Njoya.<\/p>\n

Dans une lettre une lettre du directeur du cabinet du secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la CAF transmis mercredi au ministre des Sports et de l\u2019Education physique, et par ailleurs pr\u00e9sident du Comit\u00e9 local d\u2019organisation de la CAN 2022, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, Jean-Jacques Marcel Dien\u00e9 indique que le patron de la CAF arrive au Cameroun \u00ab pour une audience avec son Excellence Paul Biya, pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique du Cameroun \u00bb, lit-on dans la correspondance.<\/p>\n

Aucun autre d\u00e9tail n\u2019est mentionn\u00e9 concernant l\u2019objet des \u00e9changes qu\u2019auront les deux hommes. Mais il est \u00e9vident qu\u2019ils parleront du football, et notamment de la Coupe d\u2019Afrique des Nations (CAN) de football 2022 \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agira de la premi\u00e8re rencontre entre le Chef de l\u2019Etat et le chef du football africain, pourtant ce dernier s\u00e9journera pour la deuxi\u00e8me fois en terre camerounaise, la premi\u00e8re fois ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du tirage au sort de cette CAN 2022 le 17 ao\u00fbt dernier \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ils n\u2019avaient pas pu se rencontrer, et le magazine Jeune Afrique avait r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que Paul Biya avait d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment choisi d\u2019ignor\u00e9 le Sud-africain, pour des \u00ab raisons d\u2019ordre diplomatique \u00bb.
