Pour lui, des e\u0301lites aux \u00ab egos surdimensionne\u0301s \u00bb alimenteraient cette tension, alors que la coexistence des he\u0301ritages devrait faire du pays un laboratoire du panafricanisme. Il admet ne\u0301anmoins des failles: bilinguisme inabouti, absence d\u2019\u00ab esprit bilingue \u00bb, ine\u0301galite\u0301s entre anglais et franc\u0327ais.<\/p>\n<p>Le Collectif Me\u0301moire 60 conteste cette lecture. Selon lui, la crise plonge ses racines dans une de\u0301colonisation inacheve\u0301e et une exclusion des forces nationalistes des ne\u0301gociations d\u2019inde\u0301pendance. Si Abwa rappelle que l\u2019Union des populations du Cameroun (UPC) a \u00ab vraiment combattu \u00bb pour l\u2019inde\u0301pendance, il e\u0301lude, selon le Collectif, les raisons de son e\u0301viction au profit d\u2019Ahmadou Ahidjo, adoube\u0301 par la France.<\/p>\n<p>LA SUITE APRE\u0300S LA PUBLICITE\u0301<\/p>\n<p>La guerre contre les maquis, les fraudes e\u0301lectorales et la marginalisation des nationalistes auraient pese\u0301 sur la naissance de l\u2019E\u0301tat postcolonial, fragilisant d\u2019emble\u0301e l\u2019unite\u0301 recherche\u0301e de part et d\u2019autre du Moungo.<\/p>\n<p>Autre point de discorde: l\u2019existence suppose\u0301e d\u2019un de\u0301cret des anne\u0301es 1990 par lequel Paul Biya aurait e\u0301leve\u0301 au rang de he\u0301ros nationaux les tenants de \u00ab deux fierte\u0301s \u00bb antagonistes d\u2019un co\u0302te\u0301 les figures tombe\u0301es pour l\u2019inde\u0301pendance, de l\u2019autre les partisans d\u2019une coope\u0301ration e\u0301troite avec l\u2019ancienne puissance coloniale.<\/p>\n<p>Pour le Collectif, ce de\u0301cret n\u2019existe pas. Il juge impossible de placer sur un me\u0302me plan les martyrs comme Ruben Um Nyobe\u0300, Fe\u0301lix Moumie\u0301 ou Ernest Ouandie\u0301, morts de mort violente, et des dirigeants de\u0301ce\u0301de\u0301s dans leur lit. La re\u0301fe\u0301rence pre\u0301sidentielle aux \u00ab pe\u0300res fondateurs \u00bb ayant \u00ab verse\u0301 leur sang \u00bb rele\u0300verait davantage, selon eux, d\u2019un geste politique que d\u2019un acte me\u0301moriel clarifie\u0301.<\/p>\n<p>Le Collectif critique aussi l\u2019analyse des ne\u0301gociations de Foumban (1961). Il rappelle que des leaders anglophones, dont John Ngu Foncha, avaient initialement porte\u0301 le projet unioniste en lien avec les nationalistes. Leur ralliement a\u0300 Ahidjo, sous l\u2019e\u0301gide franco-britannique, aurait transforme\u0301 un ide\u0301al de\u0301mocratique en partage de postes, scellant l\u2019inte\u0301gration du Southern Cameroons dans un syste\u0300me biento\u0302t domine\u0301 par le parti unique (1966). Cette \u00ab trahison \u00bb originelle pe\u0300serait encore sur le ressentiment actuel.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, le \u00ab K \u00bb de Kamerun, de\u0301fendu par les nationalistes, ne renverrait pas a\u0300 la pe\u0301riode allemande mais a\u0300 une ide\u0301e politique d\u2019unite\u0301, inscrite dans l\u2019histoire des partis et des pe\u0301titions de\u0300s 1919.<\/p>\n<p>Pour sortir de l\u2019impasse, le Collectif Me\u0301moire 60 propose une double confe\u0301rence a\u0300 Buea et Foumban de\u0301bouchant sur un me\u0301morandum historique, des programmes d\u2019e\u0301ducation populaire et une nouvelle Constitution avec pour objectif de restaurer une me\u0301moire partage\u0301e et refonder un Kamerun unifie\u0301, de\u0301mocratique et re\u0301concilie\u0301.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ap-article-footer-note\">Retrouvez plus d\u2019actualit\u00e9s et d\u2019analyses sur <span class=\"ap-highlight-country\">Cameroun<\/span> sur le site <span class=\"ap-highlight-brand\">Africa Press<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Cameroun.
