Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Sous la coordination du Capitaine de Vaisseau, Kenfack Dongmo Emmanuel, Major G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Marine, les exercices navals organis\u00e9s, avec le concours de la France, se tiennent du 2 au 7novembre.<\/p>\n

CNS Dipikar et CNS Grand Batanga. Sont les deux navires de guerre de l\u2019Arm\u00e9e marine camerounaise qui prennent part du 2 au 7 novembre 2021, au \u201cGrand African Nemo\u201d. Le Capitaine de Vaisseau Kenfack Dongmo Emmanuel, Major g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Marine, a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 le mardi 2 novembre 2021, au Centre de coordination de l\u2019action de l\u2019\u00c9tat en mer(AEM), la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019ouverture.<\/p>\n

Cet exercice est, selon la Marine nationale, un rendez-vous annuel majeur de la coop\u00e9ration op\u00e9rationnelle, co-organis\u00e9 par la France et l\u2019architecture de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime de Yaound\u00e9 afin de contribuer \u00e0 la libert\u00e9 de la navigation dans le golfe de Guin\u00e9e, en renfor\u00e7ant la coordination de la lutte contre l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime\u2019<\/p>\n

A en croire le minist\u00e8re fran\u00e7ais des Arm\u00e9es, Le Grand African Nemo \u00ab organis\u00e9 par la Marine nationale fran\u00e7aise, rassemblera les 19 nations riveraines du golfe de Guin\u00e9e et 10 autres nations dont la France. L\u2019exercice se d\u00e9roulera dans une vaste zone maritime allant du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal \u00e0 l\u2019Angola \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le minist\u00e8re fran\u00e7ais des Arm\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Au cours de cette s\u00e9ance de travail, explique la marine nationale, \u00ab deux scenarii sont pr\u00e9vus pour le Cameroun au cours de la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9dition, \u00e0 savoir la Recherche et Sauvetage, et la p\u00eache INN \u00bb, apprend-on. Ainsi, au terme du stage, ces interactions permettront \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr de renforcer les capacit\u00e9s op\u00e9rationnelles des \u00e9quipages mais aussi contribueront \u00e0 renforcer les liens entre les administrations en charge de l\u2019AEM mises \u00e0 contribution.<\/p>\n

En effet, c\u2019est depuis 2018, Grand African Nemo est devenu le rendez-vous annuel majeur de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime dans le golfe de Guin\u00e9e. Ce stage d\u2019impr\u00e9gnation, qui rassemble un nombre de moyens militaires particuli\u00e8rement important en mer, \u00e0 terre et dans les airs, a pour objectif de partager les savoir-faire et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le niveau op\u00e9rationnel de chacun en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre la p\u00eache ill\u00e9gale, la piraterie, la pollution maritime, les trafics ill\u00e9gaux et de sauvetage en mer. S\u2019\u00e9tendant sur 5 707 kilom\u00e8tres de rivages de l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest, allant du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal \u00e0 l\u2019Angola, le golfe de Guin\u00e9e est une r\u00e9gion maritime de premier plan.<\/p>\n

Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e des grandes routes maritimes, la r\u00e9gion abrite d\u2019importantes ressources naturelles, notamment p\u00e9trolif\u00e8res, halieutiques, ainsi que des minerais qui aiguisent les app\u00e9tits des comp\u00e9titeurs strat\u00e9giques. E\u00bb c\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son r\u00f4le moteur dans le partenariat issu du protocole de Yaound\u00e9 de 2013, que la France, au travers du pilotage de cet exercice ambitieux, contribue de fa\u00e7on d\u00e9terminante \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime dans le golfe de Guin\u00e9e avec ses partenaires africains.<\/p>\n
