Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Les quatre instruments actifs de Hubble sont de nouveau tous en service ! En effet, apr\u00e8s l’Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) le 7 novembre puis la Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) le 21, ce sont le Cosmic Origins Spectrograph (COS) et le Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS) qui ont repris leurs activit\u00e9s, respectivement le 28 novembre et le 6 d\u00e9cembre.<\/b><\/p>\n

L’\u00e9quipe du t\u00e9lescope spatial n’a d\u00e9tect\u00e9 aucun nouveau probl\u00e8me de message de synchronisation depuis le d\u00e9but de la surveillance le 1er novembre.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9quipe continue de travailler sur le d\u00e9veloppement et le test des modifications \u00e0 apporter au logiciel des instruments, qui leur permettraient de mener des op\u00e9rations scientifiques m\u00eame s’ils rencontraient plusieurs messages de synchronisation perdus \u00e0 l’avenir. Le premier de ces changements devrait \u00eatre install\u00e9 sur le Cosmic Origins Spectrograph \u00e0 la mi-d\u00e9cembre. Les autres instruments recevront des mises \u00e0 jour similaires dans les prochains mois.<\/p>\n

Avec le lancement du t\u00e9lescope spatial James-Webb, pr\u00e9vu le 22 d\u00e9cembre, la Nasa esp\u00e8re que les deux observatoires fonctionneront ensemble pendant une bonne partie de cette d\u00e9cennie.<\/p>\n
