Nous l\u2019avons annonc\u00e9 des jours plus t\u00f4t la tenue ce jeudi 16 d\u00e9cembre 2021 \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9 de la 1\u00e8re Consultation sous-r\u00e9gionale de haut niveau pour la paix et la r\u00e9conciliation nationale au Cameroun. Une initiative du Redhac. Sauf que le Jour-J, les gouvernants s\u2019y sont oppos\u00e9s avan\u00e7ant des motifs de vell\u00e9it\u00e9s de troubles \u00e0 l\u2019ordre public et de pand\u00e9mie du Covid-19.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, cens\u00e9 se tenir au Palais des Congr\u00e8s de Yaound\u00e9, a \u00e9t\u00e9 interdit. Ce qui a laiss\u00e9 m\u00e9dus\u00e9e la centaine de participants venus des pays africains et des quatre coins des fronti\u00e8res camerounaises. Toutefois, tous ont converg\u00e9 vers un autre lieu afin de discuter et d\u2019\u00e9changer sur les voies de sortie de la crise anglophone. Leur enthousiasme n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 heurt\u00e9 par les blocages des pouvoirs publics camerounais.<\/p>\n

Au contraire, les \u00e9changes, partages d\u2019exp\u00e9riences et recommandations \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s riches. On a senti dans les diff\u00e9rentes prises de parole, une soif du changement non seulement au Cameroun mais en Afrique. L\u2019initiative de cette consultation sous-r\u00e9gionale de haut niveau pour la paix et la r\u00e9conciliation nationale au Cameroun, port\u00e9e par le R\u00e9seau des D\u00e9fenseurs des Droits de l\u2019Homme en Afrique Centrale (REDHAC) a \u00e9t\u00e9 fortement salu\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Objectif atteint<\/p>\n

Ce d\u2019autant plus que le Redhac entendait, par cette large consultation, contribuer<\/p>\n

efficacement \u00e0 la r\u00e9solution des conflits sociopolitiques et s\u00e9curitaires pour une paix durable et la r\u00e9conciliation nationale. De par son caract\u00e8re innovant, la consultation a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 poser les bases d\u2019un dialogue franc entre les diff\u00e9rents acteurs et \u00e0 agir efficacement dans la pr\u00e9vention et la gestion des conflits sociopolitiques et s\u00e9curitaires au Cameroun.<\/p>\n

Le grand rendez-vous a permis de constituer un panel d\u2019acteurs divers, vivant dans des environnements diff\u00e9rents avec leurs propres r\u00e9alit\u00e9s, afin de confronter les id\u00e9es et les exp\u00e9riences pour des propositions concr\u00e8tes aboutissant \u00e0 l\u2019effectivit\u00e9 de la mise en place de la Commission V\u00e9rit\u00e9, Justice et R\u00e9conciliation (CVJR), seul gage d\u2019une paix durable, de la coh\u00e9sion sociale et de la r\u00e9conciliation nationale.<\/p>\n

De l\u2019avis de la Directrice Ex\u00e9cutive du R\u00e9seau des D\u00e9fenseurs des Droits de l\u2019Homme en Afrique Centrale (REDHAC): \u00abcette consultation de haut niveau<\/p>\n

est la mutualisation des intelligences et la synergie d\u2019actions au niveau national, sous-r\u00e9gional, r\u00e9gional et international pour \u00e9laborer un m\u00e9morandum inclusif pour la r\u00e9solution de la crise sociopolitique dans les r\u00e9gions du Nord-ouest et du Sud-Ouest, la pr\u00e9vention des conflits et la mise en place effective de la Commission V\u00e9rit\u00e9, Justice et R\u00e9conciliation, seul gage d\u2019une paix durable, la coh\u00e9sion sociale et la r\u00e9conciliation nationale au Cameroun. Cet instrument a servi d\u2019outil pour un plaidoyer de toutes les parties prenantes\u00bb.<\/p>\n
