Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Ag\u00e9 de 24 ans, Ibrahim Bello a choisi le 1er janvier, jour de l\u2019an pour quitter la terre des hommes. Victime de tortures de la part des policiers, il ne s\u2019est jamais remis de ce drame. Le jeune amput\u00e9 de ses deux pieds, n\u2019est jamais entr\u00e9 dans ses droits malgr\u00e9 la condamnation de ses bourreaux. Le journaliste A. Mounde Njimbam qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 proche de ce dossier rend un dernier \u00e0 Bello.<\/p>\n

Le jeudi 23 d\u00e9cembre dernier, nous faisions, pour le compte du Collectif Plus Jamais \u00c7a, un transfert \u00e0 Jean-Claude Fogno, homme d\u2019une exceptionnelle d\u00e9termination et professionnel engag\u00e9 des droits de l\u2019homme, pour apporter un soutien \u00e0 Bello. Souffrant le martyre depuis quelques jours, il avait du mal \u00e0 se sortir d\u2019une maladie qui le rongeait \u00e0 petits feux.<\/p>\n

Ce matin, mon cher Fogno, m\u2019envoie un message, regrettant de ne pouvoir me souhaiter des v\u0153ux plut\u00f4t que de m\u2019annoncer le d\u00e9c\u00e8s d\u2019Ibrahim Bello. Une affliction. Un couperet. Le sentiment que tous les efforts, depuis 4 ans men\u00e9s par toutes ces \u00e2mes de bonne volont\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 vains.<\/p>\n

Ibrahim Bello, victime de tortures polici\u00e8res en 2017 \u00e0 Ombessa, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 amput\u00e9 des deux jambes et \u00e9tait rest\u00e9 un long moment, apr\u00e8s le travail de nos diff\u00e9rentes organisations au Centre des Handicap\u00e9s d\u2019Etoug-Ebe.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9clamant justice, il n\u2019a jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort pu \u00eatre indemnis\u00e9 par l\u2019Etat du Cameroun, malgr\u00e9 la condamnation de deux policiers et une premi\u00e8re fixation des dommages et int\u00e9r\u00eats par les juges \u00e0 un montant de 50 millions de F.cfa.<\/p>\n

Pour la m\u00e9moire et l\u2019honneur de ce jeune Camerounais, il faudra continuer \u00e0 se battre pour que Justice soit enfin faite ! Pour que demain, avec sa famille, une fondation Bello, permette que d\u2019autres personnes ne subissent le m\u00eame sort.<\/p>\n

Je tiens, ici, \u00e0 saluer pour la m\u00e9moire d\u2019Ibrahim Bello, tous ceux qui ont contribu\u00e9 moralement, financi\u00e8rement, mat\u00e9riellement et en mobilisant leurs comp\u00e9tences juridiques pour sa cause. Tout en leur adressant mes v\u0153ux.<\/p>\n

La Justice est comme le jour, elle finit toujours par se lever !<\/p>\n
