\u2022 Le Cameroun devrait s\u2019attendre \u00e0 une mont\u00e9e probable des cas positifs avec la CAN qui s\u2019annonce<\/p>\n

Va-t-on finir un jour avec cette crise sanitaire li\u00e9e \u00e0 la Covid-19 qui dure depuis 2 ans ? C\u2019est la question que se posent bon nombre de personnes. Chaque jour, ce virus continue de se propager avec l\u2019apparition de nouveau variants qui font craindre le pire. Le Cameroun aussi vient d\u2019enregistrer son variant. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9 dans le sud de la France selon les m\u00e9dias occidentaux.<\/p>\n

Selon l\u2019Agence France Presse, un variant jusqu\u2019ici inconnu aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9 par des experts de Marseille d\u00e9but d\u00e9cembre. Il serait originaire du Cameroun. Les scientifiques doivent encore \u00e9valuer l\u2019\u00e9tude, pr\u00e9cise la d\u00e9p\u00eache de l\u2019AFP.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Alors que la vague Delta n\u2019est pas termin\u00e9e et que celle d\u2019Omicron d\u00e9ferle partout dans le monde, un nouveau variant jusqu\u2019ici inconnu aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert dans le sud de la France. En effet, douze personnes auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 contamin\u00e9es par ce variant qui r\u00e9pond au nom provisoire de B.1.640.2. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9s positifs dans la m\u00eame r\u00e9gion et leurs tests ont montr\u00e9 \u00abune combinaison atypique\u00bb, rapporte lundi le m\u00e9dia Marseille News.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le nouveau variant a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois chez des patients de Forcalquier, dans la r\u00e9gion des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Ce sont des experts de l\u2019IHU M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e Infection \u00e0 Marseille, un \u00e9tablissement dirig\u00e9 par le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre et controvers\u00e9 professeur Didier Raoult, qui l\u2019avaient d\u00e9couvert au d\u00e9but du mois de d\u00e9cembre, avaient-ils annonc\u00e9 sur Twitter. Selon les scientifiques, le patient z\u00e9ro serait revenu d\u2019un voyage au Cameroun, sugg\u00e9rant aux experts que cette nouvelle mutation serait originaire de ce pays africain \u00bb, souligne lematin.ch<\/p>\n

Ce nouveau variant serait hautement contagieux. \u00ab Dans cette \u00e9tude pr\u00e9liminaire, parue le 29 d\u00e9cembre mais non encore \u00e9valu\u00e9e par la communaut\u00e9 scientifique, l\u2019\u00e9quipe marseillaise a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avoir identifi\u00e9 \u00ab46 mutations\u00bb dans le nouveau variant \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Cette information cr\u00e9e une panique relative au sein de l\u2019opinion surtout lorsqu\u2019on sait que le Cameroun s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 accueillir \u00e0 partir du 9 janvier prochain la Coupe d\u2019Afrique des nations et que la question de la Covid est au centre des pr\u00e9occupations.<\/p>\n
