Dans un communiqu\u00e9 du cabinet civil de la pr\u00e9sidence de la R\u00e9publique du Cameroun publi\u00e9 ce mercredi 16 f\u00e9vrier 2022, l\u2019on apprend que l\u2019homme de 89 ans a choisi le ministre d\u2019Etat, secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la pr\u00e9sidence de la R\u00e9publique, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, pour le repr\u00e9senter.<\/p>\n

Le document indique par ailleurs que le ministre des Relations ext\u00e9rieures, Lejeune Mbella Mbella et les ambassadeurs du Cameroun aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne et de l\u2019Union africaine feront partie de la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation officielle qui accompagnera le repr\u00e9sentant personnel du Chef de l\u2019Etat Camerounais.<\/p>\n

Le comit\u00e9 d\u2019organisation explique dans un communiqu\u00e9 que le sixi\u00e8me sommet constituera une occasion unique de jeter les bases d’un partenariat renouvel\u00e9 et approfondi entre l’UA et l’UE b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d’un engagement politique au plus haut niveau fond\u00e9 sur la confiance et une compr\u00e9hension claire des int\u00e9r\u00eats mutuels des deux organisations continentales.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les dirigeants devraient d\u00e9battre de la mani\u00e8re dont les deux continents peuvent renforcer la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9. L’objectif est de lancer un ambitieux paquet d’investissements Afrique\u2011Europe en tenant compte des d\u00e9fis mondiaux tels que le changement climatique et la crise sanitaire actuelle. Ils devraient \u00e9galement discuter des outils et solutions permettant de promouvoir la stabilit\u00e9 et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une architecture renouvel\u00e9e pour la paix et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00bb peut-on lire dans le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n
