Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Le champion du monde en titre, le pilote Red Bull Max Verstappen, a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 Charles Leclerc avec trois tours \u00e0 faire pour remporter le Grand Prix de Formule 1 d’Arabie saoudite, sa premi\u00e8re victoire de la saison et sa 21e en carri\u00e8re, dimanche.<\/p>\n

La course s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e sous les projecteurs et deux jours apr\u00e8s l’attaque d’un d\u00e9p\u00f4t de p\u00e9trole situ\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de la piste par des rebelles Houthis du Y\u00e9men.<\/p>\n

Leclerc tentait de remporter une deuxi\u00e8me course cons\u00e9cutive en d\u00e9but de saison, mais Verstappen l’a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 au 47e tour de 50 apr\u00e8s une lutte endiabl\u00e9e entre les deux pilotes.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Tr\u00e8s content de finalement donner le ton \u00e0 ma saison, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Verstappen. Ce fut une course tr\u00e8s difficile, mais une bonne course. Nous avons travaill\u00e9 fort en t\u00eate. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Leclerc a m\u00eame f\u00e9licit\u00e9 son ancien rival de karting par l’entremise de la radio et l’a ensuite salu\u00e9 de la main.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous poussons la note comme je l’ai rarement fait auparavant, nous prenons des risques. \u00c9videmment il y a du respect, a affirm\u00e9 Leclerc. J’ai vraiment appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 la course, c’\u00e9tait dur, mais honn\u00eate. Toutes les courses devraient \u00eatre comme celle-ci. J’ai eu du plaisir, mais je voulais vraiment gagner aujourd’hui. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Leclerc a rat\u00e9 l’occasion de signer une quatri\u00e8me victoire en carri\u00e8re, alors que Verstappen l’a coiff\u00e9 par une demi-seconde. Leclerc reste cependant du classement des pilotes avec 45 points en deux courses. Carlos Sainz fils en compte 33 et Verstappen 25.<\/p>\n

Sainz a termin\u00e9 troisi\u00e8me pour procurer \u00e0 Ferrari un deuxi\u00e8me doubl\u00e9 sur le podium en autant de courses cette saison.<\/p>\n

Sergio Perez, parti de la pole position sur sa Red Bull, a termin\u00e9 au pied du podium, tandis que le septuple champion du monde Lewis Hamilton n’a pu engranger qu’un point pour Mercedes en terminant 10e apr\u00e8s \u00eatre parti de la 15e place sur la grille.<\/p>\n

Son co\u00e9quipier, George Russell, a pris la cinqui\u00e8me place, mais Mercedes a de nouveau sembl\u00e9 d\u00e9pass\u00e9 par les \u00e9v\u00e9nements tout le week-end.<\/p>\n

Lance Stroll (Aston Martin) a \u00e9t\u00e9 le dernier pilote \u00e0 franchir le fil d’arriv\u00e9e en 13e place, derri\u00e8re son co\u00e9quipier, le pilote de remplacement Nico H\u00fclkenberg.<\/p>\n

La course a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e par plusieurs abandons, dont celui du Canadien Nicholas Latifi (Williams). En tout, six pilotes n’ont pas termin\u00e9 l’\u00e9preuve.<\/p>\n

La F1 se dirigera pour l’Australie la course du 10 avril avant de d\u00e9coller pour l’Europe.<\/p>\n
