Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Dans une vid\u00e9o en circulation depuis le 23 mars, le d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 d\u00e9partemental de la Leki\u00e9 a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au retrait de pr\u00e8s 5000 kg du poisson des locaux de Congelcam pour qualit\u00e9 douteuse. L\u2019entreprise donne sa version des faits.<\/b><\/p>\n

23 mars 2022, le d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 d\u00e9partemental pour la Leki\u00e9 du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Elevage, des p\u00eaches et des industries animales (Minepia) a effectu\u00e9 une descente sur e terrain.<\/p>\n

Cette descente de Marthe Mebounou faisait suite \u00e0 plusieurs plaintes des populations de la ville d\u2019Obala, quant \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 du poisson servie \u00e0 Congelcam. 4997 kg de poissons de diff\u00e9rentes vari\u00e9t\u00e9s (maquereau, machoiron, capitaine, sardine etc) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 saisis.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Tous ces produits destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la grande consommation \u00e9taient de mauvaise qualit\u00e9 et impropres \u00e0 la consommation des populations. Il fallait imp\u00e9rativement proc\u00e9der \u00e0 cette saisie pour \u00e9viter qu\u2019ils ne fassent l\u2019objet de commercialisation, car cela pouvait cr\u00e9er des intoxications alimentaires dans les m\u00e9nages \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Par contre, si le Minepia depuis son d\u00e9partemental dans la Leki\u00e9 estime qu\u2019\u00e0 Congelcam le poisson est de mauvaise qualit\u00e9, l\u2019entreprise a un autre regard sur le sujet.<\/p>\n

Lors de la conf\u00e9rence de presse donn\u00e9e \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9 hier 29 mars par R\u00e9my Sah Mandoul\u00e9, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Congelcam, principal importateur de poisson au Cameroun, il en est ressorti que le poisson saisi n\u2019\u00e9tait pas de qualit\u00e9 douteuse.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les poissons saisis chez nous n\u2019\u00e9taient pas avari\u00e9s. Au moment de leur saisie dans notre chambre froide, ils \u00e9taient frais \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le directeur de Congelcam.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nos produits sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s depuis le Port de Douala jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos diff\u00e9rents points de vente. Chaque chambre froide est dot\u00e9e d\u2019un groupe \u00e9lectrog\u00e8ne pour pallier d\u2019\u00e9ventuelles coupures d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Ce qui permet de conserver nos produits dans des conditions idoines \u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n

N\u00e9anmoins, le directeur a soulign\u00e9 que, lorsque les produits de mauvaises qualit\u00e9s transitent par le Port, Congelcam se charge de les d\u00e9truire en pr\u00e9sence des experts.<\/p>\n

Un film qui laisse le consommateur ind\u00e9cis entre le Prix \u00e9lev\u00e9 du poisson, et la qualit\u00e9 de ce produit.<\/p>\n
