Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Selon le ministre du Commerce, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, pour maintenir inchang\u00e9s les prix des carburants actuellement pratiqu\u00e9s \u00e0 la pompe, l\u2019\u00c9tat devrait d\u00e9penser 672 milliards de FCFA en termes de subventions en 2022. L\u2019information a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e au cours d\u2019un point de presse organis\u00e9 le 30 mars 2022 \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9 sur la hausse des prix observ\u00e9e en ce moment sur le march\u00e9 international. Cette augmentation cons\u00e9cutive \u00e0 la reprise \u00e9conomique post-Covid a \u00e9t\u00e9 aggrav\u00e9e depuis fin f\u00e9vrier 2022 par la crise entre la Russie et l\u2019Ukraine.<\/p>\n

En effet, selon les donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es le 18 mars 2022 au Premier ministre par le patronat camerounais, les cours du baril de p\u00e9trole brut (mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re permettant de produire du super, du gasoil et du p\u00e9trole lampant) sur le march\u00e9 international sont pass\u00e9s de 51 dollars \u00e0 91 dollars (+78%) de janvier 2021 \u00e0 janvier 2022, et ont atteint 139 dollars le baril en mars 2022 \u00e0 la faveur du conflit russo-ukrainien, soit \u00ab\u2009le niveau le plus haut depuis la crise de 2008\u2009\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Dans le m\u00eame temps, les cours du gaz naturel (qui permet de produit le gaz domestique) et du fret maritime ont explos\u00e9, impactant n\u00e9gativement le secteur p\u00e9trolier camerounais, qui se caract\u00e9rise par les importations des produits p\u00e9troliers finis depuis l\u2019incendie de l\u2019unique raffinerie du pays (Sonara) en 2019. Il faut, en effet, savoir que depuis que le Cameroun importe les produits raffin\u00e9s, le prix d\u2019\u00e9quilibre est tomb\u00e9 de 55 \u00e0 40 dollars, selon les simulations faites par la Caisse de stabilisation des prix des hydrocarbures (CSPH). C\u2019est-\u00e0-dire que, lorsque les cours mondiaux vont au-del\u00e0, les prix actuels pratiqu\u00e9s \u00e0 la pompe engendrent des pertes qui doivent \u00eatre compens\u00e9es par l\u2019\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n

Fort de cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9, a-t-on appris le 30 mars 2022 du ministre du Commerce, le prix d\u2019un litre de super revient \u00e0 1016 FCFA, alors qu\u2019il continue d\u2019\u00eatre vendu sur le march\u00e9 local \u00e0 630 FCFA. Le litre de gasoil devrait normalement co\u00fbter 1027 FCFA, contre 575 FCFA dans la pratique. Celui du p\u00e9trole lampant devrait revenir \u00e0 849 FCFA, mais est stabilis\u00e9 \u00e0 350 F \u00e0 la pompe. Par ailleurs, une bouteille de 12 kg de gaz domestique devrait \u00eatre vendue \u00e0 13\u2009277 FCFA, mais est c\u00e9d\u00e9e aux m\u00e9nages \u00e0 6\u2009500 FCFA.<\/p>\n

Pour maintenir cette situation inchang\u00e9e tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2022, dans le contexte international actuel, l\u2019\u00c9tat devra subventionner la consommation du super \u00e0 253 milliards de FCFA, 376 milliards de FCFA pour le gasoil, 43 milliards de FCFA pour le p\u00e9trole et 70 milliards de FCFA pour le gaz domestique.<\/p>\n
