Africa-Press – Cameroun. <\/strong><\/span>Investir au Cameroun) – Le Tr\u00e9sor public camerounais a proc\u00e9d\u00e9, le 11 avril 2022, au paiement d\u2019un montant d\u2019un peu plus de 6 milliards de FCFA repr\u00e9sentant les int\u00e9r\u00eats d\u2019un emprunt contract\u00e9 sur le march\u00e9 des titres publics de la Beac en avril 2020. Selon le tableau de bord des op\u00e9rations du march\u00e9 des valeurs du Tr\u00e9sor publi\u00e9 par la banque centrale des six pays de la Cemac (Cameroun, Congo, Gabon, Tchad, RCA er Guin\u00e9e \u00e9quatorial), cet emprunt est cons\u00e9cutif \u00e0 une \u00e9mission d\u2019Obligations du Tr\u00e9sor assimilables (OTA) \u00e0 5 ans, r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 5,7% par an.<\/p>\n

Ce paiement porte \u00e0 un peu plus de 26 milliards de FCFA l\u2019enveloppe de dettes rembours\u00e9e par le Cameroun sur ce march\u00e9 de la dette depuis le d\u00e9but du mois d\u2019avril courant. En effet, le 1er avril 2022, le Tr\u00e9sor camerounais avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 rembours\u00e9 une dette de 20 milliards de FCFA contract\u00e9e 26 semaines plus t\u00f4t par \u00e9mission de bons du Tr\u00e9sor assimilables (BTA), titres publics dont les int\u00e9r\u00eats sont pr\u00e9compt\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Selon les donn\u00e9es du minist\u00e8re des Finances, le Cameroun a d\u00e9j\u00e0 rembours\u00e9 des emprunts de plus de 3\u2009000 milliards de FCFA sur le march\u00e9 des titres publics de la Beac depuis 2011, sans un seul d\u00e9faut de paiement. Ce qui en fait une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en mati\u00e8re de solvabilit\u00e9 et un partenaire cr\u00e9dible pour les investisseurs de ce march\u00e9.<\/p>\n
