L\u2019un des points d\u2019ancrage des objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable de l\u2019ONU est le tourisme. L\u2019organisation internationale souligne que le tourisme apporte des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices qui permettent d\u2019atteindre les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable et de donner corps aux priorit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement pour faciliter la croissance \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

Au-del\u00e0 de son aspect ludique, c\u2019est aussi un moyen d\u2019attirer des investisseurs. Mais pour ce faire, l\u2019image que d\u00e9gage le pays compte \u00e9norm\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est la raison d\u2019\u00eatre des \u00e9changes qui ont eu lieu le mercredi 11 mai 2022 \u00e0 l\u2019Ecole sup\u00e9rieure des sciences et techniques de l\u2019information et de la communication, Esstic. Organis\u00e9es par le groupe d\u2019\u00e9tudiants de la fili\u00e8re Communication des organisations, Muyenga, les discussions se sont appesanties sur les enjeux et les acteurs dans la promotion du patrimoine camerounais.<\/p>\n

Et l\u2019un des points pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme pertinent pour le faire, est l\u2019utilisation de la diplomatie. Les diplomates selon le Pr Elvic Batchom, incarnent l\u2019image d\u2019un Etat et sont donc des acteurs essentiels pour promouvoir la r\u00e9putation de leurs pays \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n

Au travers de sa personne, le diplomate peut par exemple vendre l\u2019aspect culturel de son pays au-travers de son v\u00eatement ou encore l\u2019\u00e9thique dont il fait preuve.<\/p>\n

Le professeur explique que le comportement ou encore les fr\u00e9quentations d\u2019un diplomate renseigne \u00e0 suffisance sur les attitudes de son pays ou influence l\u2019image qui se fait de ce dernier. Et peut donc soit attirer ou d\u00e9courager des potentiels touristes.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, la valorisation du patrimoine camerounais selon le Dr. Jean Christian Bisseni Mbog, n\u00e9cessite pour un r\u00e9sultat escompt\u00e9, que le pays se projette comme une marque. Dans ce cas, pr\u00e9cise-t-il, c\u2019est la nation qui est la marque.<\/p>\n

Une marque qui doit se faire conna\u00eetre, se faire valoriser et se faire vendre. Les pan\u00e9listes sont tous d\u2019accord sur l\u2019usage tant des outils de communication que de personnalit\u00e9s par exemple sportives pour mettre en avant le patrimoine camerounais.<\/p>\n

Et comme dans toutes d\u00e9marches de marketing, il faut impliquer des Brand ambassador tant au niveau local qu\u2019au niveau international, d\u2019o\u00f9 les notions de citizen brand ambassador et d\u2019international brand ambassador.<\/p>\n
